Donna [Stadtman] Batson went home to be with LORD on August 18, 2023 after many months of Hospice care and years of declining health. She loved family and children. She was a great listener and cared for many friends and strangers. She loved Jesus Christ in a quiet way; setting an example of love for her family and never tolerating four letter words.

In Wolfeboro, Donna shared her love for people by volunteering with Hospice and New Beginnings, programs coordinated by Huggins Hospital. As a Hospice volunteer, she would sit with people in their final days listening to their stories of family, friends, and more. As a volunteer with New Beginnings, she would help mothers with their newborns as well as everyday tasks of washing clothes and doing dishes. She helped mothers with twins and triplets who have since graduated from Kingswood.

Celebration of Life Services will be held at First Christian Church, 83 North Main Street, Wolfeboro NH on Tuesday, September 12 at 12 noon. All are invited. Lord Funeral Home of Wolfeboro is assisting the family.

The family has asked that in lieu of flowers or donations to organizations, people simply take a friend to lunch and renew old relationships that have suffered during the past few years, and make new ones. Be kindhearted - “loving others by showing grace to those in need”. Donna will be remembered for her kindness to others, listening to them in their darkest times and rejoicing with them in times of celebration. Always with Love.
