Richard Hatch

Moved to Pennsylvania in 1973, to work at WFIL radio.. Changed name to Kris Chandler for on-air. Worked at several stations in Philly until 1992. Went into Voiceovers full-time in 1992, still doing some work. Worked for NFL Films for a while, many local and national commercials and narrations. Semi-retired in 2011.

Franklin College, Franklin, Indiana. Dramatic Arts and speech. Intended to become an actor, but got sidetracked into radio.
Have always thought about the great times at AHS in Theater, Music, Band and Orchestra. Remeber Bob Lehman, Mr. Einzig, and Mr. Siegel (Civics).

Had a major crush on Barbara Olchewski, Phyllis Carr, and Frannie Gustav, but never had enough courage to follow up. For some reason, the song "Everything's Coming Up Roses" keeps sticking in my memory. I guess the band must have done it one year.

Had to withdraw from most activities my Senior year, cause I got a full time job in the cafeteria at Harvard Law. Got out of school around 11 and took the bus into the square and worked until 8 every day (including weekends) Needed the money for college and a car, so my memories of Senior year are very faint.

Best memory is when Ron, Vern, Jimmy and I combined into a folk group, The Trenchermen. Tons of fun learning songs and developing harmonies and stage presence. I can't remember if we ever performed anywhere, but it's a great memory.
